Yakety Yak

The NFL viewing public will be subjected to four broadcast crews this weekend. Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf (Ravens-Steelers), Joe Buck and Troy Aikman (Packers-Falcons), Kenny AlbertDaryl Johnston and Tony Siragusa (Seahawks-Bears) and Jim Nantz and Phil Simms (Jets-Patriots). Who would have thought the guy on your right would outplay the guy on the left? But that's what happened Sunday when Mark Sanchez led the nine-point underdog Jets to a win over the Patriots and an unusually-rattled Tom Brady. The Jets, who talked a lot of smack during the week, didn't let up after the game. Jets linebacker Bart Scott had some choice words for Brady and the New England defense after the game in this very high-strung interview. Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards didn't actually trash talk afterwards. He just did some flips. And CBS announcer Jim Nantz got all high and mighty at the end of the game about the Jets having the nerve to celebrate going to the AFC Championship game. Luckily, Phil Simms set him straight.
