Why Are British Woman So Fat?

UK women are more likely than men to weigh over 30st, a study says.

The shock statistic emerged as our women were revealed to be the fattest in any major nation across western Europe.
The average British female has ballooned since 1980. Experts have blamed ready meals, takeaways and driving instead of walking.

Let us know why you think British women are so fat by posting your comments below...

Average body mass index, a fat measurement based on height and weight, is 26.9.
This is classed as seriously overweight and well above women in Italy, France and Greece who have BMIs of around 24. Only tiny Malta (27) has a higher level in western Europe - while Turkish women (28.2) are the fattest in the entire continent.
Thirty years ago, average Miss Britain had a BMI of 24.2. The study found one in ten adults worldwide is obese, double the 1980 figure.
Britain's fattest woman Sharon Mevsimler weighed 45st at her peak in Chelmsford, Essex. She died aged 41 last year. The world's fattest man, Paul Mason, 51, of Ipswich, was almost 70st until a gastric bypass op. Study leader Prof Majid Ezzati, of London's Imperial College, said: "Doing less exercise and eating more is taking its toll."
US women top the western world's chart with a 28.3 BMI. UK men have an average of 27.4 - ninth heaviest in Europe and up from 24.7 in 1980.
The pioneering study will be published in medical journal The Lancet.

THE dad of Meredith Kercher yesterday blasted a vile film portrayal of her sex murder

The new movie's previews show Meredith screaming in terror as she is attacked by killers Amanda Knox, Raffaele Sollecito and Rudy Guede.
In one the 21-year-old British student is pinned to the ground and struggles helplessly as she is pawed by Guede and Sollecito.

Dad John said of the film: "Your imagination runs riot as it is about what happened.

"But to actually see it like this is very distressing. The scenes are absolutely horrific.
"It's awful what these film people have done.
"I'm surprised they have gone so far. I was told the original brief of the film was to take it up to the point of the killing but not actually show the killing.
"It's obvious from these pictures they are showing the killing."
Meredith's Mum Arline said she could not bear to watch the previews of Amanda Knox: Murder On Trial In Italy, to be screened on TV on February 21.
She said: "I really don't want to look. It's shocking." John wants the previews withdrawn from internet sites. He said they are not just offensive, but also legally dangerous.
American Knox and Italian boyfriend Sollecito are in the middle of an appeal against convictions for slashing Meredith's throat at a student house in Perugia, Italy.
John added: "I have asked and would hope the pictures are withdrawn from the internet.
"Not only have they upset me and my family but they are also in extreme danger of being sued by the convicted people's lawyers.

"In Italy you are regarded as still not being completely convicted until you have had two appeals. If these people win their appeals, which I hope they won't, then they could sue the makers." Arline said: "I don't understand how a film can be made when there is an appeal to be heard.
"It also brings this all up again for us which is always very hard.

"I said a few months back I didn't understand why the film was called Amanda Knox when my daughter was the victim."
Knox, 20 at the time of the murder, is played in the film by Heroes star Hayden Panettiere.
Panettiere, 21, recently said she did not think it would anger the Kerchers. She added: "The script is really good. I don't think the family will be upset about the way it was put together."

The film goes out on the Lifetime channel in America. The trailer is on various internet sites. It also shows police finding Meredith's body beneath a duvet in her bedroom and Knox and Sollecito in bed together. After a request from the Kerchers, The Sun has not published some of the more graphic images.
Lifetime declined to comment. Meredith, from Coulsdon, Surrey, was found dead in the house she shared with Knox in November 2007. Police said Knox, Sollecito and drug dealer Guede killed her when she snubbed sexual advances.

Who Spiderman 4 Ennemy?

What Villains could be featured in Spider-Man 4? Unfortunately most of the big names in Spider-Man’s rogue gallery have already been used (and killed, for that matter). Let’s take a look at the current contenders.LizardLizardDr. Curt Connors was mentioned briefly in the film Spider-Man, and appeared in both of the sequels, where he was played by actor Dylan Baker. So this makes him the perfect choice for one of the upcoming sequels. The Lizard is one of the most interesting of the unused Spidey villains because in his human state he is a friend and ally of Peter Parker, much like Harry Osbourne was. Connors developed an experimental serum taken from reptilian DNA, which he tested on himself and was subsequently transformed into a reptilian humanoid monster. Peter Parker worked as a teaching assistant to Dr. Connors at Empire State University, although Connors had no idea that Peter was actually Spider-Man.

The Magical Levitation Photography by David Blaine

Magical-Levitation-Photography-by-David-BlaineLevitation is one of the oldest and probably most effective tricks which has been used by people who wanted to look like they have some special abilities which others do not have.
Although I believe that true floating could be achieved in certain circumstances, I think that this kind of trick has ceased to be effective long time ago. Actually, for the most of people, when they just hear the word "levitation" they know that the following part is a trick and nothing but the trick.

However, even if it is trick, it is not easy to achieve it, even when you trying to do that on photos.
Every kind of skill requires a lot of practice as well as this one: creating illusion photography of people who do look like they're floating.
David Blaine is one of those who have been working on developing such techniques for a longer time. He seems to be "an magician with the camera". Here you can see some of his best photos where some man and woman have been caught while they were levitating.
